Fed: Chocolate companies should follow Cadbury's suit

World Vision Australia chief executive TIM COSTELLO has called on all major chocolate
manufacturers to follow Cadbury's lead and go Fairtrade.

From next year the nation's most popular chocolate bar .. Cadbury Dairy Milk .. will
become Fairtrade certified.

This means a steep increase of the amount of cocoa bought from west Africa under sustainable
farming schemes .. which will also help end child labour and trafficking.

Mr COSTELLO says it's time major chocolate companies go Fairtrade .. and he's called
on Nestle and Lindt and Sprungli to follow Cadbury's lead.
